About Anna
Crowned the “Nail Guru” from the Greek media, with over 25 years of experience, Anna Almbanis is a renowned beauty expert and top celebrity nail artist in Greece.
Her work can be seen in various high end publications such as Vogue – including the first iconic issue of VOGUE GREECE with Bella Hadid on the cover, where Anna was in charge of her manicure. She is also published in Vogue Arabia making her the first Greek nail artist to be featured in the magazine.
Being one of the most sought-after nail professionals among the fashion industry and celebrity elite, Anna has created nail looks for iconic names in the fashion industry such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Mary Katranzou, Dior & Tom Ford. In addition, she contributed to campaigns for brands such as Cartier and L’oreal. Recently, she was part of the global Louis Vuitton High Jewelry Campaign, starring Ana De Armas. To top up her extensive resume, Anna was the first Greek judge in the leading international nail competition, Naillympics, and many more around the world.
Her biggest passion, though, is teaching: constantly evolving by retraining herself, so she can keep up with the new techniques and share the knowledge with her students. Hundreds of today’s nail artists have been trained by Anna. Her teaching method combines all her expertise and personal experience, along with extra tips and techniques she has developed. She is often invited as an instructor abroad. Anna’s seminar and live shows are in high demand throughout the world including the UK, Canada, HongKong, Shanghai, Beijing, etc. Her latest endeavor is making branded beauty content for Tik Tok, where her videos have earned her a massive TikTok following.
Currently she is the artistic director of NYXI∙NYXI beauty lounge stores and the founder of Nail Academy by NYXI-NYXI schools all over Greece. Her coexistent project is Perfect Touch Permanent Makeup, where she practices her other big love, permanent makeup.
